WHAT IS AFRICAN BLACK SOAP?
African black soap, a legacy of ancestral traditions, is a 100% vegetable soap originated from West Africa. It is a crumbly and malleable soap. The making of this soap is an art passed down from generation to generation. The composition of black soap varies according to the vegetable materials that are found in abundance in the region where the soap is made. Ours comes from cooperative families in Ghana.

HOW TO USE
Use as an exfoliating soap for the body and hands or scalp. Take a ball of black soap and wet it with warm water to soften it. Then rub to make a lather, before applying it to the skin or hair. If you prefer liquid soaps, you can easily liquefy the black soap. Simply grate or crumble it and mix with warm water in a bottle. Allow 200ml of water for 100g of soap.
WARNING
Caution: African black soap is so exfoliating that it can dry out the skin. Always make sure to hydrate the skin with a good moisturizer after using it.
